A traditionally smoked Chinese black tea from high altitudes an unmistakable classic with incredible delicacy.
This Lapsang Souchong, or Zhengshan Xiaozhong, comes from its very birthplace: the Tongmu Nature Reserve in Fujian. The Zhang family has been producing tea here for five generations, carefully preserving the ancient craft of pinewood smoking. In their traditional wooden Qinglou, the leaves are slowly infused with the fragrance of local pine, creating a tea that is both powerful and refined.
The aroma is smoky and savoury, yet never overwhelming, leaving space for notes of minerality, spice, and deep sweetness reminiscent of longan fruit. The creamy texture balances the smokiness, while the finish lingers with an elegant, long-lasting sweetness.
A sophisticated version of one of the worlds most iconic teas.
