White Peony, also known as Bai Mu Dan, is an full-leaf white tea sourced from the Fujian Province of China. Consisting of both buds and leaves that are air dried after harvesting, this subtle white tea has a floral aroma and velvety taste.
This white tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 1.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 3 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.
White tea (Origin: Fujian, China)
Clean, crisp, and slightly juicy, with notes of flowers, cucumber, and a hint of butter.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming (not boiling). Steep for 2 – 3 minutes. For best taste, do not over steep.
We recommend using ateapot,tea infuser, ortea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.
White tea is low in caffeine.
