Our Sandia Sangria Oolong is a fruity sangria-inspired blend with hints of watermelon, lemon, and orange. This tea is named after New Mexico’s Sandia mountainssandia means “watermelon” in Spanish, which is what these mountains are said to look like when they glow red at sunset. Sandia Sangria is delicious hot and also makes an excellent iced tea!
This tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 4 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 8 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.
Oolong tea, papaya and apple pieces, orange & lemon peels, hibiscus, elderberries, rosehip peels, mistletoe, cinnamon, plum and safflower petals, celery seed oil, cloves, natural flavor.
Fruity and juicy, with notes of watermelon and papaya and a hint of spice.
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming (not boiling). Steep for three minutes. This tea may be infused several times.
We recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.
Sandia Sangria is low in caffeine.
