Matcha is a finely ground powdered tea. Our ceremonial matcha is grown in the Kansai region on Japans main island of Honshu, has vast protected areas and some 1,000 kilometers of Pacific coastline. The tea used to make matcha is shade grown in the final weeks, and develops higher levels of caffeine and theanine.
