Our Uji Gyokuro (also known as Jade Dew) is a prized steamed green tea from Uji, Kyoto Prefecture. A special grade gyokuro green tea of select fine green tea leaves that are grown under shade for20 daysbefore promptly deep steamed upon harvesting.
The steeped tea yields arich green liquor with strong notes of distinctive gyokuro umami and hints of sweet corn. The vegetal cup also leaves the palate with a creamy mouthfeel sensation.We recommend steeping the tea gently ,only with warm water.
Steeping Time: 5 – 6 mins
Brewing method: 2g per 200ml of water
Recommended water temperature: 70 – 75C
