Culinary grade matcha is designed to be used when making tea lattes, smoothies, or baked goods. This excellent quality culinary grade matcha has a slightly stronger taste than our ceremonial grade, so that the matcha flavor can shine even when mixed with other ingredients.
Each 100 gram pouch (3.5 oz.) will make many servings, depending on the recipe.

Sift about 1 tsp. culinary grade matcha using a matcha sifter into a matcha bowl or mug. Heat water until steaming but not boiling, approximately 175 degrees. Add three tablespoons of water to the bowl and whisk to form a thick paste. If desired, add a tablespoon of honey and whisk together. Add one cup of warm milk and stir to combine. If desired, add frothed milk on top.
Matcha ishigh in caffeine, containing about half as much as coffee.
